Our Council & Board


The Haemophilia Foundation Australia Council is established under the Constitution as its main governing committee. The Constitution provides for Council delegates to be elected by State and Territory Foundations to represent each Foundation and form the Council. Each delegate acts in a voluntary capacity.

The Executive Board is elected by Council Delegates from its own number to represent Council and oversight the affairs of the organisation.

President - Gavin Finkelstein
Gavin has been involved as a volunteer with Haemophilia Foundation Western Australia since 1995 and was first appointed to HFA Council in 1998. Gavin has haemophilia. He has work experience in funds management and has owned and managed his own business.

Vice President - Dan Credazzi
Dan is the current President of HFNSW and has been on the committee since 2006. Dan has a young son with haemophilia. He is a Senior Business Development Manager and has a wide range of business experience including a MBA.

Treasurer - Ann Roberts
Ann has been involved as a volunteer with foundation activities at a state and national level for 15 years. Ann is the mother of an young adult with haemophilia. She is a Life Member of Haemophilia Foundation Victoria and was awarded HFA Volunteer of the Year in 2003. Ann has considerable small business experience and manages her own business.

Executive Member – Maria Wensing
Maria has been a long serving committee member for HFACT since its inception in 1983. She is currently serving as vice president of the organisation. She is a mother of two young men with severe haemophilia. After raising her family Maria returned to full time work and held various administrative and Executive Assistant positions in the Private Sector and the Federal Government. She is now semi-retired and is currently doing contract work for the Government.

Executive Member - Jonathan Spencer
Jonathan has been involved in Haemophilia Foundation Tasmania activities since 2006 and is currently the HFT President. Jonathan has haemophilia. He is an insolvency practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in the area of personal insolvency.
