The Haemophilia Foundation Australia Council is established under the Constitution as its main governing committee. The Constitution provides for Council delegates to be elected by State and Territory Foundations to represent each Foundation and form the Council. Each delegate acts in a voluntary capacity.

The Executive Board is elected by Council Delegates from its own number to represent Council and oversight the affairs of the organisation.
President - Gavin Finkelstein
Gavin has been involved as a volunteer with Haemophilia Foundation Western Australia since 1995 and was first appointed to HFA Council in 1998. Gavin has haemophilia. He has work experience in funds management and has owned and managed his own business.
Vice President - Peter Fogarty
Peter has been involved with Haemophilia Foundation Queensland since 2003 where he has served as President and Treasurer. Peter is the father of three young children, two of whom have haemophilia. He was elected to Council in 2005and elected as HFA Treasurer in 2007. Peter works in the area of IT business management..
Treasurer - Jonathan Spencer
Jonathan has been involved in Haemophilia Foundation Tasmania activities since 2006 and is currently the HFT President. Jonathan has haemophilia. He is an insolvency practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in the area of personal insolvency.
Executive Member - Ann Roberts
Ann has been involved as a volunteer with foundation activities at a state and national level for 15 years. Ann is the mother of an young adult with haemophilia. She is a Life Member of Haemophilia Foundation Victoria and was awarded HFA Volunteer of the Year in 2003. Ann has considerable small business experience and manages her own business.
Executive Member – Paul Bonner
Paul is the President of Haemophilia Foundation South Australia and is on the HFA Youth Committee and has been a key driver since its inception in 2003. He has severe haemophilia B and is a qualified shipwright (boat builder).
