A Council made up of delegates from Member State and Territory Foundations manages HFA. HFA Council meets annually for the purpose of reviewing and implementing policy and program plans.

EXECUTIVE BOARD The Executive Board, elected by Council Delegates, are responsible for the day-to-day management and conduct of the Foundation’s affairs. The HFA Executive Board consists of 5 voluntary members from State and Territory Foundations.
President - Gavin Finkelstein
Gavin has been working with Haemophilia Foundation Western Australia since 1995. He has had previous experience working in funds management and has also owned and managed his own business. He brings with him great organisational skills and financial management skills.
Vice President - Peter Mathews
Peter was elected onto the Executive Board in October 2002, and in 2003 became Vice President. Peter is the Executive Officer of Haemophilia Foundation NSW. He runs the office in NSW and apart from the usual day to day tasks he is involved in administering grants, advocacy and lobbying. Peter has a strong background, and excellent skills, in management, economics and IT.
Treasurer - Peter Fogarty
Peter is the current President of Haemophilia Foundation Queensland and has been involved wiht the foundation since 2003. Peter has a young boy with haemophilia.
Executive Member - Ann Roberts
Ann has a depth of experience as an HFA Council Delegate and is a Life Member of Haemophilia Foundation Victoria. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2003 and has been involved with the Foundation for over 15 years. Ann brings to the board excellent management and business skills.
Executive Member - Judi Fisher
Judi has been actively involved with Haemophilia Foundation Victoria for over 29 years in many different areas from a staff member to a committee member. Judi’s husband has haemophilia and she brings with her great personal knowledge and experience.
