The exciting multidisciplinary program will feature presentations on current and future issues affecting people with haemophilia, von Willebrand disorder and related inherited bleeding disorders by Australian, New Zealand and overseas experts. The conference program will be interesting for people of all ages.
There will also be sessions on the treatment and care of children and adults with bleeding disorders, inhibitors, and the complexities of ageing, youth, women’s health, hepatitis C and HIV. There will be lively discussions about the supply and safety of treatment products, the cost of treatment and care, and issues that impact on access to care and treatment in the developed and the developing world.

Dr Michael Carr-Gregg who is one Australia's highest profile psychologists will speak on parenting, adolescence and mental health. Dr Paula Bolton-Maggs who is a consultant haematologist in the United Kingdom will bring her clinical experiences of treating people with bleeding disorders over many years. Kathy Mulder is a Canadian physiotherapist with extensive experience and a passion for helping people with bleeding disorders learn more about how to care for themselves, and understand the importance of physiotherapy in comprehensive care teams.
