Evaluation of needs assessment
During 2008 HFA evaluated the impact of the work so far on its hepatitis C strategy and consulted with the community and health professionals for their response to the needs assessment. Most of the findings from the consultation were consistent with the Double Whammy Report. There were also some important new findings which are summarised in the Getting it right: evaluating HFA’s hepatitis C work page.
HFA asked for feedback from the bleeding disorders community about the Report and the recommendations by 18 April 2008. A summary of community feedback was published in the June 2008 National Haemophilia magazine.
