Celebrate Rare Diseases Day!

In 2017  the Rare Disease Day theme is “Research Brings Hope”.

Rare Disease Day

Join us in making the voice of rare diseases heard!

With research, possibilities are limitless. On Rare Disease Day 2017 we recognise the crucial role that people with rare diseases play in research: in advocacy, funding, partnering with and participating in research. This is an important way that people with rare diseases instigate change to improve their lives and the lives of their families and carers.

Rare Disease Day is celebrated on 28 February 2017 and gives people living with or affected by a rare disease, patient organisations, politicians, carers, medical professionals, researchers and industry the opportunity to come together to raise awareness of rare diseases.  The wider community is invited to learn more about rare diseases and help overcome the isolation often experienced by people living with a rare disease and their families.
