National Haemophilia – September 2021

The latest edition of National Haemophilia is now available. In the September issue we explore a range of topics, including:

  • Dealing with challenges and change
  • Finally cured of hep C
  • Social support and social connectness
  • Understanding disability and aged care services
  • How to talk about periods
  • Bailey's story: Facing my fear of needles

We also have a huge feature on our upcoming 20th Australian Conference on Haemophilia, VWD and Severe Bleeding Disorders, including speakers, FAQs and an agenda overview, and information on how you can get involved this Bleeding Disorders Awareness Week. October is going to be a huge month for our community!

As always, a huge thank you to all of our contributors. National Haemophilia would not be what it is without our community members sharing their personal stories, and health professionals providing expert advice and keeping us up-to-date with the very latest information.

Brand new look and feel for National Haemophilia

The team at HFA have been busy behind the scenes making updates to National Haemophilia – both in print and online. We have a new look and feel, and improved the website to make it easier for you to search by topic or keyword, and navigate between articles. We've also added images and authors on each contents page to help you scan and find relevant articles.

We hope you enjoy reading National Haemophilia!
