The Youth Canoe Journey is a part of the HFA Youth Lead Connect program, intended to build education and life skills for young people. HFA have teamed up with adventure therapy company Purple Soup to bring you this exciting experience.

This program will take place over 4 days (Thursday-Sunday) and will see participants canoeing along the Murray River between the NSW and VIC border, stopping each night to camp. Participants will be challenged to work as a team, overcome obstacles, and develop initiative skills.

The scheduled dates are 15–18 November 2018. This may be subject to change depending on accommodation availability. Travel, accommodation and meal costs will be covered by HFA.

The Youth Canoe Journey is open to anyone aged between 18-25 years, and has a bleeding disorder, carries the gene or has a sibling with a bleeding disorder.
