Concurrent 8 – Getting older

1325-1455 | Saturday 9 October, 2021

Chaired by Jenny Lees, 'Concurrent 8 – Getting older' explores growing older with a bleeding disorder. Zev shares his story, providing advice on how he has kept active and stayed positive as he has grown older, and we look at the results of the Getting Older report. Lastly we are joined by a nurse, physiotherapist and psychosocial worker for a fascinating panel to discuss what are the issues and challenges ahead. These sessions were presented at the 20th Australian Conference on Haemophilia, VWD and Rare Bleeding Disorders, held virtually on 8-9 October 2021. Watch the recording below.
