Haemophilia Foundation Australia (HFA) is running a women’s workshop in Melbourne on Wednesday 1 July – Thursday 2 July 2026. We are delighted to announce that Dawn Rotellini (NBDF, USA) Chair of the WFH Women and Girls with Inherited Bleeding Disorders Committee, will be a guest facilitator.
The aim of the workshop is to upskill Australian women with bleeding disorders around telling their personal story for their healthcare self-advocacy and to support HFA and local Foundations’ work to advocate for women with bleeding disorders. The intention is that participants would then be able to share these skills with other women with bleeding disorders, for example, in Foundation peer support or other activities.
You are invited to apply if you are an Australian woman with a bleeding disorder or carry the gene and are involved in:
- national or local Haemophilia Foundation activities, including peer support groups
- and/or a Haemophilia Foundation committee of management.
