Project Elevate Her

Project Elevate Her is a global initiative focused on improving quality of life for women living with bleeding disorders by accelerating diagnosis and access to care.

Maia Meier, a Canadian mountaineer, endurance athlete, and women’s health advocate with von Willebrand disease, will tackle seven summits – including Australia’s Mt Kosciusko – to raise awareness for women whose health experiences are often overlooked or misunderstood.

We are proud to support the launch of Project Elevate Her – a global Seven Summits initiative advancing awareness and equity for women with bleeding disorders.

Over the next three years, this campaign will combine high-altitude mountaineering with global storytelling to highlight the experiences of women around the world and address ongoing gaps in diagnosis, care, and visibility.

Together, the campaign aims to raise $5 million to support bleeding disorder organizations across five global regions – advancing education, care, and advocacy for women and girls worldwide.
