For the seventh year a group of cyclists led by Andrew Atkins will ride as Team.Factor to take on the 2019 Challenge Tour in South Australia on Saturday 19 January 2019.
The amazing team taking on the challenge this year are Andrew Atkins, Uwe Hahn, Philip Shaw, Cameron Cramey, Dan Drake and Bradley Clausen. Some of Team.Factor you may know from the South Australia Haemophilia Treatment Centre or the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and they are all are keen to support their cause with this challenging ride.
Uwe and Cameron will take on the big ride from Glenelg to Strathalbyn, just over 158.70kms, and Andrew, Philip, Dan and Bradley will ride from Myponga to Strathalbyn, still a big 102kms. Challenge Tour riders will tackle the same route and on the same day as the professional riders in Stage 5 of the Santos Tour Down Under.
Team.Factor’s chosen charity is Haemophilia Foundation Australia.
Last year after many months of training their ride was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions – so this year they are all ready to go again.
