World Haemophilia Day 2024 Photos

Wednesday, 17 April marked World Haemophilia Day. This year’s theme of ‘Recognising all bleeding disorders‘ invited the entire bleeding disorders community to come together and raise awareness of haemophilia, VWD and other bleeding disorders.

It was spectacular seeing landmarks across Australia – and the world – light up red in support of bleeding disorders. Thank you to everyone who got involved and helped to make the day so special for our community.

World Haemophilia Day 2024

Today is World Haemophilia Day. Every year on 17 April, World Haemophilia Day is recognised worldwide to increase awareness of haemophilia, von Willebrand disease and other inherited bleeding disorders. This is a critical effort since with increased awareness comes better diagnosis and access to care for the millions who remain without treatment.
