Conference FAQs

The Conference is being held at the VOCO Brisbane, 16-18 October 2025.

You can register for the forum by visiting our Registration Page. Follow the instructions to complete your registration and secure your spot.

Access to the sessions, exhibition, posters, daily catering, and welcome reception.

Early bird discounts are available until 30 June 2025.

You can register onsite, however to ensure we have included your registration in final catering numbers and any dietary requirements, we strongly recommend registering online prior to the Conference.

The VOCO Brisbane hotel entrance is wheelchair accessible, there is accessible parking available and
hotel elevators are wheelchair accessible. The public restrooms are wheelchair accessible. There are
dedicated wheelchair accessible accommodation rooms with roll in showers (subject to availability and upon request.)

Accommodation is available at the VOCO Brisbane. Bookings can be made via the online registration form.

Smart casual is the dress code for the conference. The VOCO is fully air conditioned, so it is advised to bring an extra layer/jacket.

VOCO Brisbane is located in the City Centre. View the driving directions.

Parking is available at the hotel. Enter via North Quay. 1.8m height clearance. Cost is AUD 36 per night, subject to availability.

The nearest Train Station is Central Station, approximately 700 metres from the hotel.

Most international guests will require a VISA to enter Australia, and applications must be made in advance. You are advised to apply for your VISA as early as possible as some applications may take 4-6 weeks to process.

Should you require a letter of invitation to support your visa application, please email hfaust@haemophilia.org.au and an invitation will be emailed to you, noting this does not imply any financial support for your participation at the conference. You must have registered in advance to be issued a letter of invitation.

There will be no treatment room at the conference venue. Delegates must make their own plans for medical services and treatment. All delegates should plan well in advance to bring sufficient supplies of haemophilia treatment products to meet treatment requirements.
