HFA has an active fundraising program to support our mission. We appreciate the individuals, philanthropic trusts, service clubs and private and public companies that provide donations, raise funds through events, or make grants to support our work. HFA’s corporate supporters include pharmaceutical companies that may provide grants and/or sponsorship for specific projects or conferences. HFA receives grants from the Department of Health and the National Blood Authority for our secretariat and agreed education activities.
Any financial and in-kind support received by HFA is based on a mutual understanding that HFA will act independently to benefit the bleeding disorders community. HFA has a corporate governance framework, and works to establish and maintain ethical and transparent relationships with all donors, grant makers and program sponsors. In the spirit of appreciation and transparency, we recognise our donors and sponsors in our Annual Report each year.
