Be involved in HFA’s Young Women’s Project!

What do young women need to know about having a bleeding disorder, symptoms, treatment and everything in between?

If you are a young woman with a bleeding disorder aged 16-30 years, consider joining the HFA review group to help develop information resources for young women. The information will include young women’s personal stories.

HFA is currently working on a general resource about bleeding disorders targeted at young women and there are other more specific resources planned.

HFA is looking for more young women reviewers with a range of bleeding disorder experiences to expand our group.

An important part of the process of writing information for young women is to make sure that young women in the community are represented appropriately, and that the content represents them and their needs. The review group has an important role in this and has already done some valuable work. We would love to hear from more young women who would also be interested.

WHO CAN BE PART OF THE REVIEW GROUP?

Young women aged 13-30 years
Have a bleeding disorder, carry the gene or have bleeding symptoms
