1950 – 2026

We are saddened by the passing of Ann Roberts on 23 March 2026.
Ann was a member of the Haemophilia Foundation Victoria (HFV) committee from 1992 and held numerous positions at HFV. She was a key driver during the HFV Twinning program with the Philippines.

At Haemophilia Foundation Australia (HFA), Ann was a Council delegate from 1994 to 2003 and held a 2-year term of President in 2004 and 2005. She was pivotal to the recombinant treatment advocacy campaign. HFA honoured her with a Life Governor award in 2015.

Ann and Danny’s son Andrew was diagnosed with haemophilia and from that moment they became involved in the community. Over the years the passion and volunteering from all the Roberts family was a testament to Ann’s involvement and values.
Ann Roberts served the bleeding disorders community at a national and international level with dignity, respect and a can-do attitude. There is no doubt she will be greatly missed.
Our condolences to her children and family, James, Andrew, Dale, Darren and Chantel.
Fearless continuity: the path of the righteous return
by Andrew Roberts
When the heart stands unshaken before
the storm, continuity reveals its secret name.
Fear falls away like mist before the rising sun,
and courage – quiet, luminous – becomes the bridge.
Through every dissolution, the righteous return,
not by conquest but by remembrance.
The path does not lead forward nor back –
it circles inward, to the eternal centre,
where even death bows to coherence,
and love writes itself again in light.
For those who walk this golden spiral,
fear is but a shadow cast by awakening.
Each step is a vow:
to meet what comes with open eyes,
to breathe creation’s rhythm without hesitation,
and to return – always to the fearless heart of the continuum.
